Drantakhs in action!
Here are some of Larry Enoch's Drantakh soldiers (with a little sci fi too). Click on pictures to see larger versions.
A Drantakh squad assaults a hardpoint. Most of the Drantakhs are Hothgar, meaning they are from an unmarried Klad ("age bond" social group). The fellow in the orange is an Am Tan (individual who has been denied a place in the social order, usually as a result of being a criminal or incompetent.) seeking acceptance by being point. |
The Drantakhs withdraw after clearing the hardpoint. The Am Tan has survived! The red markings on the Deg (leader) and the armored trooper mark them as being Hothlok (from a Klad that has been allowed to marry.) |
After knocking out the hardpoint, a Drantakh Hothlok Deg discusses next steps with a Crusader Levi NCO. (Crusader is from Alternative Armies) The white nostrils mark this Deg as being a Preen (allowed to start a harem.) |
